Rainbow colors!!

Another weekly mini challenge is running at the Unity Facebook group!!

This week the theme is Rainbow colors!!

Here is what I made for this week:

Made the background with Distress Oxides on photo paper.

A lot of washi tape in the middle and the stamps I used it: It sucks to get old.

Colored the stamps with copics and fuzzy cut them.

SheepSkiDesign FB challenge

The new challenge at the SheepSkiDesign FB group has started again!

Here is what I made for this challenge as inspiration for you:

The background is made with a stencil and Distress Oxides on black cardstock.

Hoera ( Congrats) is cut out with dies, I first added double sided adhesive on the cardstock.

Added fine gold glitter after the cutting.

Mini challenge at Unity

A new mini challenge started yesterday at the Unity FB group.
All details can be found on their blog!
This weeks challenge is : Design your own postcard, now that is a challenge, no layers or embellishments!
Here is my take on it:

 For the front I first added 3 colors of Distress Oxides, the stamped the image, Lovely Lilacs with Versamark and embossingpowder.
The frames stamps are from the kit Beautiful Elements

The back of the card, the poststamp stamp is also from beautiful Elements, the other stamps I got in grabbags from Unity.

Unity challenge for April

There is a new challenge on the Unity Facebook group, hosted by Bobbie Sue McConathy.

This one will run the whole month of April, and it is a fun challenge!!

Paper napkin cards!!

I love the Unity challenges and always try to make something for those challenges.

Here are two projects I entered:

For the first card I used the only napkin I had in the house!!

Added a few dots with a stencil and Black Soot Distress ink.

The sentiment is from the kit Hello Beautiful, stamped and embossed on vellum.

Second is a large tag, used a napkin I bought today.

I used Mod Podge and Mod Podge glitter to get the napkin on the tag.

Before I shade the tag a bit with Distress Oxide inks, so the single layer of the napkin gets a bit of vintage look when glued down.

The bee is from the kit Beautiful Birthday Wishes, and the sentiment is from the kit Free your dreams.
