There is another challenge on the Make it Crafty Facebook Fanpage!!!
You can grab a freebie image and you have to make a card with it, and post it on the Facebook page :D
I just finished my entry for this, that image is soooo cute!!
I think it is very hard to take a good picture with a easel card!!
Colored the image with Copics and added some embossingpowder here and there, also on the hair, unfortunately that is not visible on the photo's!!
I bought a new die yesterday, I needed a Christmas die, LOL, it's from Joy crafts.

Clean & Simple Challenge | Masking, part 2
My second card for the Make it Crafty Cas challenge.
This month our focus is on masking. Whether you use a mask to create a scene of characters and objects, create a fancy background or use a mask to stamp a portion of an image.
Also with that cute image Shellina.
Tthis image was colored with watercolor pencils.
I made a mask for the image, with tracingpaper and put it on the colored image.
I took some left over waves, cut with Cameo and put them over the masked image.
With Distress inks I inked the background.
This was the result.
I added some stickles on her tail for some shine.
Finished card!!

Clean & Simple Challenge | Masking, part one
There is another CAS challenge at Make it Crafty.
Theme: "This month our focus is on masking. Whether you use a mask to create a scene of characters and objects, create a fancy background or use a mask to stamp a portion of an image".
Now, we got a very cute freebie in the Make it Crafty FB group,( join us if you're not a member yet!!) so I used this image for the CAS challenge.
I made some photo's, not great quality, cause I made them on my phone.
First, I colored the image with Twinkling H2O and some watercolor paint for the skin.
I added some drops of masking liquid to make some water bubbles, and let it dry for a while.
I took my Metallic PanPastels and colored the background, added some blue PanPastel too.
I removed the drops of maks liquid by rubbing it of with my finger, goes very easily without destroying your paper ( watercolorpaper, it doesn't work with copicspaper!)
Then I added som Glossy accents on the white "bubbles".
The final card, on a punched background.

Freebie/Progressive Challenge June
The new Freebie/Progressive challenge on The Outlawz for the month of June has as sponsor
We all got this gorgeous poppy image.
I had some new stencils and a fresh can of structure paste, so I wanted to use that for this card.
I painted a small canvas board with blue paint, added a sort of border with white paint.
Then, after it dried ( sigh) I took the stencil and the paste and added it on the board.
Stencil is from Dutch Doobadoo.
The image is colored with watercolor pencils and twinkling H2O, those are just great!!! They give a nice shimmer on the image ( if you could see it in real, lol).
I also added some structurepaste on the image.
