For now the last Make it Crafty challenge

The last Make it Crafty challenge ( for now)is running this month.
Theme is anything goes, so that is easy!!!

I used the beautiful Roses of love from MiC.

Watercolored the image this time.

This is one of my favorite Make it Crafty images!!

Make it Crafty Coloring challenge

I'm just in time for the latest coloring challenge of Make it Crafty!!
Theme is : add extra details.
That is a hard one: draw something or doodle extra on or with your image. I can't draw a straight line!!!

For this challenge I used the beautiful roses of love. 
 I printed it on craft paper and watercolored the image.

After that, I drew a sort of stitch line around the image, made some fake ribbon too, and added a little ladybug on one of the petals of a rose.

Make it Crafty challenge

So, the new challenge on the Make It Crafty blog is a few weeks on it's way, one more week left.
And I had to try this one, the theme: Skin!

Zoe always adds a little thank yo note in your "real"order, like stamps or chipboard!
And on the back is most of the time a part of one of her images.
I always keep those notes and color the image :D
So for this challenge I used one of those images.

I tried to color monochrome, also the skin!! And tried to add shape to the nose.

new Make it Crafty challenge

The new Make it Crafty challenge is fun!
Theme: Sparkle!!

For my entry I used Fairy Tag Tops, rubber stamp, theose are so cute to make a little gift tag!!

XOlored with Copics.
For the sparkle I used: Sparkle pens from Crafters Companion on the bauble and sentiment, Glitter gel pen for the wings and MetallicPanPastel for the background.

YAY, the Make it Crafty coloring challenges are back!!

Yes, it's true, the Make it Crafty coloring challenges are back!!

Theme this month is: "glow"
Colour a scene or character with an element that glows.

I used for this card :
Digital stamp Cold by light
Copics to color it
Chipboard: Mini stars, Snowflakes, the words Merry and Christmas ( if you like the chipboard, Zoe has it 20% off till Sunday, 12th November!!)
I embossed them with embossingpowder, yes, even those little tiny stars!!!!!
I put them on a piece of tape, so they would stay in place, added versamark with a versamark pen, sprinkled some embossingpowder on it, and then the heattool.
Because they were on tape , the heattool didn't blow those tiny stars away.

Almost halloween

I just love making halloween things, and we don't even celebrate here!!
And today I made the most adorable halloween house, from Make it Crafty Chipboard!!
Easy to assemble and so much fun to make and decorate!!!

I just love these little houses!!

Last Make it Crafty challenge

Oops, I neclected my blog for a while, it was a very busy time and such warm weather here, I totally forgot to craft and write blogposts!! I promise I will post more often :D

The last Make it Crafty Challenges are almost over and I'm just in time!!
The CAS challenge is : make it move, add something on your project that moves.

Andt the Colourful challenge is: Out of focus .

Sooooo, I made this for both challenges, as time was short on me this month!!

I made the background of the image with Gelatos, the image self is colored with copics.
The image was the back of a "thank you"card Zoe added to my order of the cute chippies, which I also added to my card :-D
I colored the chippies with copics and added clear embossingpowder to them.
You get her here as Digistamp!
The moving element is a charm on a wire, it can slide down.
The background of the card is made with Aquamarkers and water on watercolor paper.

A card for the Make it Crafty CAS challenge

The new CAS challenge from Make it Crafty is so fun!!
The theme is: Use Acetate.

Amd the colourful challenge is themed: water.
So I tried to combine those two challenges :-D

I used Emo Willow with gift and colored her with copics.
The acetate is hard to see, but I used a square behind the first layer of the card, behind that is a zip-lock with water and glittery things. Then another layer of acetate to protect the zip-lock.
The flowers are cut from acetate and colored with copics,
The sentiment is also from Make it Crafty,

Make it Crafty challenge

Yes, yes, yes!! It's challenge time again at Make it Crafty!!
This time the theme is water,hmmmm, my last card had water too, LOL, that was the summer challenge.
And I love that image so I used it again for this challenge, Little Pond, and merged it with Jack goes fishing.

I colored the images with aquarel paint, suitable for the water challenge :-D

New CAS challenge at Make it Crafty

There is a new CAS challenge at Make it Crafty!!
Theme of this month is SUMMER.
And it feels like summer the last few days here, finally!!

I had this image on my pile of images to color, and this was perfect for a summer challenge.

Image is Little pond from make it Crafty, a challenging image to color!!
But I'm happy how it turned out :-D

Make it Crafty challenges

At Make it Crafty are two challenges again, and really challenging this time!!
The CAS challenge is a sketch, ofcourse I love that, being part of a sketch team, LOL
But the Make it colourful challenge is coloring skies!!
Withe the new tutorial of Zoe, that should be eaasy, as her tutorials are just great!
But I don't have that one yet, so I had to try without :-D

I combined the sketch and CAS challenge in one card:

The images used are: Rose garden and Happy days sentiment.
Image is colored with copics, the background/sky of the circle is done with PanPastel and an eraser.
The big background is made with Gelatos, and a cloud stencil.

March CAS challenge Make it Crafty

Just in time for the Make it Crafty CAS challenge!!
Theme: masking.
So you need to use a mask, whether it be to create a scene with your stamps, to combine digital and rubber stamps, or to create a background!

I used for this card:
Gnomey Harry, masked it with Whimsical mushroom, and then masked it all to add a cloud background.
Background is colored with PanPastel and Gelatos, images are colored with Copics.

Just for fun

Today I finished an image I had for ages on my desk.
But today was a great day for coloring and crafting!!
A winter or Christmas card, LOL! Can't start too early!!
And Make it Crafty has such cute winter images!!

I used 3 digi's: Cold by light, Snowing, and Lisa snowman for this card.

Colored with copics, but the background is done with PanPastel, as well as the light beam from the lantern.

Make it Crafty challenges

For the month of February, there are 2 new challenges again on Make it Crafty.
The CAS challenge, Theme: Splats and the Make it colourfull challenge, theme: Transparency.

For the first one, the CAS challenge, I made this card:

I made the background with Brusho powders on watercolor cardstock.
The flower frame is cut with cameo.
The sentiment is a digital sentiment,which Ican't find in the store anymore, but it is from Make it Crafty!!
I cut it 3 times with my cameo from cardstock, glued them together, colored with copics, and then heat embossed with clear embossingpowder.


The other card is for the transparency challenge:

Images used are: Sapphire sitting and Daffodil swing.
Colred with copics, background with PanPastel.
The colors are in real much brighter, but had to use my phone for the pictures this time :D

New challenge on MIC and on Outlawz!!

We have abrand new challenge on The Outlawz, every friday, and it is called Festive Fridays.
This is a fun challenge, you can create  whatever you want ie: Card, Tags, Boxes, Scrapbook pages, page for a Journal.  You are allowed to make 3 projects.
The choices this week are:

Polar Bear Plunge Day

Bird Day

Bean Day

Bubble Bath Day

And for Make it Crafty : the theme for this month is feathers!

So a great way to combine 2 challenges, ( I join the Outlawz challenge for fun as I'm on DT there).
I used Bird day for my first Festive Friday card.

And I choose one of the new gorgeous images from Make it Crafty, Rosella in Gumtree.

I used copics to color the image, and I used my own birdies, (pyrrhura) to choose my colors.
