New sketch!!

We have another sketch for you and this weeks posting is from Emily!

Hi everyone and welcome to this week's sketch challenge!

On behalf of Darcy, Lisbeth, Pat, Sandra, Trinaand myself, I want to welcome you all to this week’s challenge.  Thanks to everyone who entered our sketch challenge last week, the entries were all beautiful.  We’re looking forward to seeing you join in the fun this week and how you interpret the sketch.

Remember you can create anything, a card, tag, scrap page, as long as the sketch is your inspiration.  You can also flip, rotate and resize the sketch so long as we can recognise it.

As it’s a new month we have a new sponsor, the amazing Aurora Wings

Mitzi generously provided our design team beautiful images to play with and the winner of our September challenge will receive $10 worth of digital stamps of their choice from her Etsy shop!

Here’s this week’s fabulous sketch.

Now here’s some inspiration from the awesome sketch DT.
has created a beautiful Chinese inspired card with the Chinese Woman with Erhu in Peony Garden image matching the designer papers and colours of her image perfectly and adding a simple elegance through the use of black mats.
These images are so gorgeous and the colouring from the DT so amazing they deserve a close-up, here's Trina's image, so beautifully done it looks like it came from a classic Chinese scroll.
richly toned card features Sisterhood and is gorgeously warm and autumnal.  I love the colours and the elegant simplicity of the metal discs for embellies.
Take a closer look at Sandra’s fabulous colouring, she’s really nailed the feathers and the owls!
card features Orchid Fairy.  I love the beautiful, soft lilac tones and how perfectly the wings are coloured to give the impression of translucency.
In the close-up you can really see how Pat has created a stunning watercolour effect with her colouring that is just perfect for the image.
used Warrior and his Pack of Wolves on her masculine card.  I love the pop of red on his tunic and those metal triangle embellies.

And here’s a close up of Darcy’s beautiful colouring of the image, the fur on the wolves is just perfect!

Lisbeth (will be back soon)
I’ve used the beautiful Marie Antoinette on my card, which I just had to go vintage and shabby chic on given the image.

Just look at how beautifully drawn the image is, my absolute favourite Marie Antoinette inspired digi.

Now hopefully we’ve inspired you as we would love to see what you create with this sketch!
