As usual, very challenging!!
Easy Challenge - Practise colouring with Browns
Get those “browns” out and practise colouring hair, clothing and trees with brown! You only need to have part of your image coloured with brown to enter the easy challenge.
Hard Challenge - Colour whole image with Browns (monochrome)
For the hard challenge I want you to try and recreate an old looking photo using sepia tones. You can not add any colour to the image, including no skin colours.
Ideally when practising this technique you will use just one set of colours across the whole image.
This time I started with the hard challenge.
I got a fabulous image, called Delphine, in honour of Delphine's birthday ( one if the MiC-girls).
We had to make a card with this image to celebrate her birthday, so this one is especially for Delphine!!
Here is my entry for the hard challenge:
Skin: E 50, 51, 53
Hair: E 21, 25, 29
Dress and hat: E 71, 77
Shirt: E 57, 59
"Pants": E 43, 47, 49, 33
Shoes: E 25, 29, 49
The background is a stamp from Prima Marketing, stamped with Versmark.
Colored with PanPastel, Orange dark, Red Iron oxide shade and Bronze.
Well for someone who thought it was hard working with all brown, you would never know it. This turned our amazing!!!

BeantwoordenVerwijderenFantastic card! You've done a great job with every single detail! The background and the image blends in perfectly together. The butterfly and the flower are at the right places at just the right size. Art well done!
