Welcome to this week's Sketch Challenge!!
This is Darcy and on behalf of Sandra, Trina, Pat, Cindy, and Margaret, I would like to welcome you all to this week's challenge, we hope you will all join this new sketch!
The entries this past week were so beautiful. It was a great sketch and so good to see everyone's different view on the sketch. And we can't wait to see what you will make with this week's sketch.
Remember you can create anything, a card, tag, scrap page, as long as the sketch is your inspiration and recognizable.

Here is the sketch for this week!
Now it's your turn!!! Remember that the sketch is for inspiration. Feel free to flip, rotate, re-size so long as we can see how the sketch led to your creation. It just so happens that we all used Carl the Chameleon from Encino Stamps (isn't he just the cutest little guy?) for our focal image for this sketch. So interesting to see how we all made our cards look so different with the same image!!
There are approximately 160 species of chameleons which are part of the lizard family and they are found in a range of colors, including pink, blue, red, orange, turquoise, yellow, and green.
Chameleons change color sometimes as a social function (attracting females) and sometimes as a reaction to temperature in an attempt to maintain its body temperature in heat or cold. They also change color to camouflage themselves from predators or to attempt to scare or intimidate other chameleons, snakes, or birds when they feel threatened. (Info from Wikipedia)
Here are the inspiration cards from our DT:
Sandra used cool aquatic colors for her lovely card. Fabulous color blending on her chameleon.
Pat used pinks and brown for her card and her chameleon is so cute! Great shading on her little guy. What a great Valentine card this would make!
Trina is off this week
Cindy has used a beautiful color combo on her card with those wonderful stripes. The texture on her chameleon is so fantastic--you just want to touch him.
Margaret is off this week
And I decided to get a little funky with my chameleon and make him colors of the rainbow.
Hope to see you this week!
