Wednesday Sketch Challenge December 18

Toda y we have a new sketch for you on The Outlawz!
This week's posting is from Darcy!

Hello everyone...can you believe we are more than halfway through the month of December???  Where has the time gone?  Hope you are all enjoying the holiday season!
The New Year is just around the corner now and will be here before we know it. Have you sat down and wrote out your New Year’s Resolutions yet?  I’ll have to try and think of some that I won’t break the first week!!!   Hmmmmm……maybe my resolution should be to try to be a little more organized. That is always a good one!!  (I’m still finishing up Christmas cards as I write this!)
We had amazing projects this past week with that wonderful sketch. I am always in awe of how one sketch can generate so many different and beautiful creations.  All of us here, Sandra, Trina, Pat, Margaret, Cindy, and myself are looking forward to seeing your beautiful designs using this week's new sketch as inspiration.
This month’s sponsor is  Bugaboo with 7 free images for our Dec. winner. They have so many adorable images to choose from, something for every special someone on your list, AND they have all images for 50% off till the 31st!! Check them out and stock up!! :)

Here’s our sketch for this week!

Sandra made a beautiful card using the Christmas Teddy Tree image. I love the holly in the corners and the Christmas tree has gorgeous texture.

Pat used fabulous colors to make her card using the Winter Penguin Star image. Just love those three-dimensional snowflakes in the corners.

Trina will be back soon!

Margaret used the cute Snowman Star image. I absolutely love the background paper she used and the frosty, glittery accents in the corners.

Cindy did her card with traditional red and green colors. The focal image just draws you in---it's beautiful. The little red gems really add a great touch.
And I did my card with the Penguin Star image and chose a bright red plaid background and Diamond Stickles for a glittery effect.
Now it's your turn!!!
Remember that the sketch is for inspiration. Feel free to flip, rotate, or re-size so long as we can see how the sketch led to your creation...and you can create anything, a card, tag, scrap-page, as long as the sketch is your inspiration and recognizable.

Wednesday Sketch Challenge for December 11

Another week with beautiful sketches on the Outlawz!!
This weeks posting is from Cindy!

Posted by Cindy Potentier, DT on December 11, 2013 at 12:41am in Wednesday's Sketch Challenge

Hello everyone...are you getting ready for the big day, before we know it we'll be ringing in the new year...geesh the yrs are just flyin' by!!! Well I hear everyone's been doing a wonderful job on the sketches while I've been away and I'm sure you'll want to play with this week's sketch to finish up your Christmas cards  :) Sandra, Trina, Pat, Margaret, Darcy and myself are looking forward to seeing how creative you'll be this week, I think I spent the most time just making my fancy embellishment LOL I didn't seem to have anything that would work. I love what my teamies did for theirs  and their cards are sooo cute :) So get your craft on and show us what you got up your sleeves :)
This months sponsor is  Bugaboo, they have so many adorable images to choose from, something for every special someone on your list!! Check them out!! :)

I just love Pat's traditional green and red card with that fancy flourishy die cut and adorable "Make it Snappy- Meowy Christmas" image, fabulously coloured to perfection!!

Sandra used the same image yet her card looks totally different with the addition of that pretty bg dp and the red mat. Her flourishy cut out looks great all decked out with ribbon and bows to highlight it,  awesome!!

I love this digi, she's versatile, pretty and classy!! I've used her for grad, birthday, congrats and new yrs cards.   You have to look closely for the four corner embellies, they are tiny little gem flowers :)  Luckily I had a selection of bugaboo images already printed out waiting to be used since my printer isn't working :(    p.s.  I had added the sentiment before printing!! My flower was made with a Quikutz cookie cutter flower die.

I just love Margaret's image of choice, "Bugaboo brat's - Best Friends" I was just thinking it would make a fabulous sister card as well, she did an awesome colouring job and I like her mat for the pair, that flourishy accent is the best one I seen yet!! It's perfect for this sketch :) Although you can interpret that piece any way you like, it doesn't have to be all flourishy!! :)  LOL

And Darcy used the "Birthday Monkey" which is the one I really wanted, to bad my printer broke and I couldn't use it :(  I really love that star spangled embellishment, WOW it's perfect for a bday card!! Love it, and the frosting looks yummy too!!
Now it's your turn!!!
Remember that the sketch is for inspiration. Feel free to flip, rotate or re-size so long as we can see how the sketch lead to your creation...and you can create anything, a card, tag, scrappage, as long as the sketch is your inspiration and recognizable.
